Homework:
No Logo Day- Try to wear no logos at all Friday!  We will cover them up in class with tape!

Today:
Mega Logo Day- I wanted to show the students how many messages we are exposed to just on their clothing.  Although the dress code limits what students can wear, and that cut down on the number of logos, some students brought in some clothing with lots of logos! 

We also looked at these videos from American Idol.  I discussed how I was confused about what American Idol is.  Is it a talent contest or an opportunity to push products on viewers?  Maybe it is both, and that is what bothers me.  We will be watching a video next week that will discuss this blurring of the boundary.
