Today:
We analyzed three ads showing how you have to examine an ad thoroughly to determine all of the techniques used. I gave the classes some work time to work with their magazines.

Today :
Students finished up studying the advertising techniques. We looked at Rhetorical question, scientific evidence, testimonials, and symbol. The students then had time to look at examples in their own magazines. Their goal should be to get as many examples of the 21 ad techniques that we have studied, for their presentations next week. On Monday I will be explaining the rubric and guidelines for the informal presentations.
