Writer’s purpose: I believe the purpose of all writing is to transfer some idea from the writer to the reader. Whether it is through entertainment, persuasion, or informing, the writer wants us to gain some insight he/she has found.

Narrative- a story about a moment in your life where you learned a lesson.
Poem- Observation about Nature or life, like a photograph. You show the reader something that contained a lesson for you. (Stopping by Woods...)
Creative Story- You create characters who, through events in the story, learn a lesson you want to share.
