Objective:  The goal for today is to examine writer's style and how his choices convey his theme. Warm up: Tell Me Something Good Today: 1. Read "One Last Time" by Gary Soto using your online Holt book. (page 405)     Identify point of view.  Highlight how you know in blue.     Identify imagery. (Taste, see, feel, hear, smell)  Highlight words and phrases in green.     Identify thoughts in pink.     Highlight dialogue in yellow. 2. Point of View and Writing Style      (Enter your answers on this Google form) 3. Fill in TWO boxes of your KBAR sheet.

I used the computers today to have the students read from the online book.  Students could listen to the story if they wanted to.
