Validation and Vocabulary

Today we focused on a few things.  First, I wanted to continue to grow the class by exploring what it means to be validated.  We will be looking at compliments this week, and the video on this site is great!

We also reviewed the literary terms throughout the movie.  We have a quiz on Thursday.

Finally, we started vocabulary unit 1.  Students have pages 5 and 6 for homework tonight.  If your student bought a book, they can sign up for access to this site.  There are lots of resources for practicing the words.
The access code is in the front of the book.  I can also send you a code if your student is borrowing a book.  It's not a big deal. The quiz will be on Friday.
