- All students are to give the internet preferences sheet to their parents. The parents are to go to my web page, find the link for the form, and submit their information. I want to be in contact with parents as much as possible. To do that, I need some information.

Today:
- We read the poem "Ode to La Tortillas" by Gary Soto. We discussed metaphor and simile a little. I am having students read poems for inspiration for narrative topics. I would also like them to see how images are created in the reader's head using imagery.
- I gave the students time to finish the grammar diagnostic. Some classes had a little extra time to write.
